Bluefields is a city on the southeast coast of Nicaragua. Life is not easy in this port city of approximately 60,000 people where unemployment or underemployment is at least 60%. There have been no orphanages in this area to serve those children who have been abandoned or orphaned. We are partnering with Pastor Ed Jaentschke of Verbo Church to remedy this situation. A new orphanage was built in January of 2015 and will become home for 16 children from this area. This is all possible thanks to an investment by a North American from Chicago in honor of his daughter.
