Child feeding centers are located in urban areas. The purpose of the center is to provide a nutritious meal each day to vulnerable children who would be at risk for becoming social orphans. In addition, by working through the local church, the parents can see the inviting work of the local body and hopefully be enticed and welcomed in to a service. Many lives have been changed in this way. Young people who once received food themselves are now active in local church youth groups and help to cook and serve meals for the younger children. We try to provide a safe place where kids can connect with caring, Christian adults and receive a hot, nutritious lunch daily. ORPHANetwork helps to feed over 1600 children every day of the week through our ministry partners and we desire to serve many more vulnerable children.
