A Very Special Book
One day, Ms. Elena says, “Luna, you’ve heard us talk about the Bible here at church. Today, let’s take a deeper look together. It’s a book full of wonderful stories and lessons about how much God loves us and how we can love others.”
Pastor José notices them and walks over to Luna. “Luna, let’s talk more about Jesus. You know that He was God’s son, sent to earth. But do you know why? It was so that we can be part of God’s family forever!”
Luna decides she wants to be part of this family and prays with Pastor José to follow Jesus.
A few weeks later, Luna is baptized in front of all her church friends. Everyone cheers as Pastor José says, “Today is a celebration of hope and new beginnings.” Luna looks with a smile over to Mama and her brother.
