A Simple Meal Can Be Their Message of Hope.
Alexandra and Raquel are two sisters who are extremely grateful for the meals they receive at their local church. Daily meals help protect these girls from from water-borne illnesses when clean water only comes once a month or is a 25-minute walk away.
Less time spent retrieving water and possibly being sick means more time for Alexandra and Raquel go to school and develop the confidence and courage needed to reach their God-given potential.

As the rainy season comes to a close and months of drought are on the horizon, food shortages are exacerbated, and children in poverty face hunger and malnutrition. Over half of the children that ORPHANetwork’s local partners serve are located in the dry corridor where extreme weather conditions disrupt farming practices, and send food prices soaring, especially in northern areas like Madriz, Jinotega, and Nueva Segovia.

providing nourishing meals supplied by our Gift-in-Kind partners to send much-needed hope and stability to vulnerable children.

Our 34 church partners in Madriz, Jinotega, and Nueva Segovia plan to serve 152,000 meals to 3,500 vulnerable children in 2023.
