The children’s home at Hogar de Fe has been revitalized with hand-painted murals, bible verses, and inspirational messages that were hand-painted on many of the walls this summer. One of our former Transition Program students, the artistically talented Jonathan Heun, and some artistic students from Spring Branch Community Church worked together to paint the murals.
Pyper Ribble, one of our summer interns, worked with Pastor Ramiero, the orphanage director, to select bible verses and pictures that would inspire the children and honor God.
The children that live at Hogar de Fe are very appreciative of the artwork. In a recent update from the orphanage one of the children, Joseling Blandon, was quoted as saying, “I really like the murals they painted, it gives the home a new look. I like that there are educational and Christian paintings that remind us about our promise in God.”
